Welcome from Principal Ritter

I am entering my 26th year in education and have had the opportunity to serve as a teacher and leader in Arizona and Colorado.  I started my journey in 27J in 2002 opening Thimmig as a 6th through 8th grade math teacher.  I have spent the past 14 years as an instructional specialist in 27J Student Achievement supporting curriculum development and teaching and learning.  Additionally, I partnered with school leaders to develop goals and adult learning within their buildings. While I have been an instructional specialist at the district level for many years, I still feel part of the Thimmig family.

On a personal note, I am married to a fellow educator and we have three amazing children, two of which attended Thimmig and two grandbabies that are three and six years old.  We enjoy traveling, hiking, and golfing as a family.  I am looking forward to many wonderful years here at Thimmig and I am proud to be a part of this dedicated school community that is committed to the success of EVERY student.
